One Last Post!

As I write this, we are on our coach bus attempting watch Forest Gump while we make our way to the Illinois-Wisconsin border.

Soon our trip will be over. But as we stressed to the kids and ourselves, our trip will never end. We will continue to process all the things we've heard and seen in Detroit this past week. We strive to be a part of God's work not just in Detroit but in our own communities!

Zion friends, we will be sharing about our trip during worship in a few weeks! We hope you will come and worship with us.

Before our final sign off for the trip, here's a video of the "mass cast" we got to participate in! We were each carrying one of the many "orbs" that helped form one of the crosses at the end of the number.

At the end of worship, they announced that the 2018 Gathering will be in Houston, TX! Many in our group will be able to come again. They're pumped and have stated a countdown to the next one!

So many laughs on the bus playing Catch Phrase! We have had a lot of fun time for group bonding. Both Dan and I can't say enough how incredibly lucky we feel to have such a great group of kids that came to Detroit ready to learn, serve, grow and have a lot of fun. God has blessed us richly!
